Welcome to Basic Learning Bits & Bytes!
Basic learning, when done well, doesn't have to be complicated. We specialize in easy to use, targeted activities that greatly enhance any education curriculum. We don't claim to do it all, but at very little cost, we provide value that's recognized immediately, and strive for a return on investment that produces much fruit from small seeds.
Sure, you could spend thousands of dollars on the most powerful nail gun on the market. One that claims to take control of the nailing process. But if your 7-year-old daughter wants you to help build her dream lemonade stand, then your time together, and investment in each other, is best served by a $5 hammer.
Let us help you engage a learning mind, and spark creative fun. Gears turning and sparks flying -- two things we like to see when Basic Learning happens.

As the year 2014 begins, it's easy to reminisce.
It was 32 years ago that my interest in computer technology was born. I received my Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer on Christmas day, 1981. Technologically, it was a simpler time, but also a time wide open with possibilities. I was a freshman in high school then, and now my oldest child, a daughter, is that very same age. Wow!
For the last 25 years I've worked in the field of integrating technology into education, and Basic Learning Bits & Bytes represents a new chapter in trying to bring some creative ideas, and the advantages of a simpler time, to life.
Is a Mom and Pop software shop still possible in this "bigger is better" world of the 21st century? We're hopeful that with the right relationship between us and the people we are trying to serve, the answer will be a resounding YES. Please take the time to peruse our site enough to get to know us a little bit. If you like what you see, spread the word. And we welcome any input on how to serve you better.
